DW24/7 Website & Giveaways Coming Soon
Get all the details on our new Digital Warfare 24/7 website and upcoming giveaways right here, right now.
We're delighted to announce that the launch of our new website is just around the corner, but first we want to talk about a few exciting giveaways.
Here at Digital Warfare 24/7 we're always about giving back to our loyal visitors and community members; the people who have got us to where we are now. That's why we work closely with other companies to receive special things to giveaway on top of providing in-depth content daily. Today we can confirm that we are giving away two Call of Duty XP tickets and ten Call of Duty: Black Ops Rezurrection posters!
The XP tickets (worth $150 each) will grant you access to the event and its activities in Los Angeles, CA but travel and accommodation arrangements aren't included and must be purchased separately. The tickets apply for both days, meaning you can enjoy hours of entertainment on both Friday, 2nd September and Saturday, 3rd September. Not only will you be one of the first in the world to play Modern Warfare 3 multiplayer, but you'll be able to play paintball on a real-world recreation of Modern Warfare 2's 'Scrapyard', put on a Juggernaut suit and wrestle away, take a food break at Burgertown, go hands-on with Call of Duty Elite's full features, and so much more. For full details on Call of Duty XP, check out our detailed recap ».
The giveaway for the Call of Duty XP tickets will involve our new website, which we'll talk about further on in this article. Let's just say that it'll happen this weekend and will involve sweepstakes. You will have to tell us why you're the biggest Call of Duty fan and why you deserve the tickets - so get your thinking caps on in preparation! Two lucky gamers will each win a ticket to the XP event while three runner-ups will bag themselves an additional prize. We will have a team at XP covering the event, so you're more than welcome to say hello and hang out with us! More details on our coverage of the event will be revealed in due time, but we're confident that we can give our viewers all the talk, news, images and videos that they desire.
As mentioned, we are also giving away 10 posters for the upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops map pack, Rezurrection. Today and throughout the week we will be giving you the chance to win one as long as you live in North America (sorry!). Make sure you follow us on Twitter », like us on Facebook », subscribe to us on YouTube » and register to our forums ».
We believe that these giveaways will be a great way to celebrate the launch of our new Digital Warfare 24/7 website which, after months of hard work and secrecy, we're finally delighted to be able to talk about it right NOW!
Modern Warfare 24/7 started off as a little side-project manned by one hardcore Call of Duty fan, but who knew that it would get so big and become so popular? What was a little hobby suddenly expanded into something much bigger and continued to grow each day. Last year, the growth of Modern Warfare 24/7 brought on an idea called Digital Warfare 24/7 which was kick-started by Bad Company 24/7 and Black Ops 24/7. For months we've been working on the main website and today we can talk about it for the entire public to hear.
So what is the goal and vision of Digital Warfare 24/7? It's to bring you - the viewer - a whole lot of news and in-depth details about various video games in one place. When the beta launches this weekend, you will notice two featured games; Modern Warfare 3 and Battlefield 3. We will give you all the latest news on the game along with various pages dedicated to that game; including but not limited to weapons, game modes and guides.
Modern Warfare 3 and Battlefield 3 are the featured games that we will be covering to start with, but that will certainly grow as we go on. As well as featured games, we also have Chatter; a place where you can get all your general gaming news. So while our featured games will be in-depth details about a specific game, we will also be covering anything gaming-related that seems appropriate and necessary. It was key for us to be able to offer all this on one site instead of creating a different site dedicated to each game.
A new design, new video and gallery modules, the introduction of a comment section underneath articles, individual pages and contact forms for staff members and more is awaiting your arrival.
The Digital Warfare 24/7 public beta launches this weekend and we look forward to welcoming you. In the meantime, be sure to check out the first sneak peek images of the website below.
