The Heckler & Koch G11 prototype was way ahead of it's time, featuring a caseless type of ammunition that is half the weight of that of the Colt M16. The rifle featured a 45-round magazine that was mounted on top of the weapon right above the barrel.
This assault rifle was never mass produced, but it fits the Black Ops exclusiveness of the S.O.G. and time line perfectly.
