Information
The Machete appears only once during the game, and is not seen in use. Swift has a Machete on his back, but he does not manage to use it before he is stabbed by a member of the Vietcong. Swift appears to be a 'tunnel rat': a soldier who went into the 'rat tunnels' used by the Vietnamese during the conflict, armed with a machete and an M1911 handgun. Swift's M1911 is suppressed, but it cannot be picked up when he is stabbed.
