Class Creator Update and Stats
We've updated the Black Ops Class Creator with new (community made!) backgrounds and listed the most and least popular choices to date.
We developed the Black Ops Class Creator generator nearly two months ago and so far it has received a great response from the Call of Duty community. These class cards are being displayed on numerous forums and they are also being used in guides and articles about the weapons in Black Ops. We have also been following up on all the feedback we have received. Most of the minor bugs have been fixed, and more complicated issues are currently being worked on for future updates.
For those who haven’t checked out the application recently, we added 12 new backgrounds earlier this week. The designs came from a contest we held on our forums, where any member could create a background in the hopes of it getting added into the generator. The best of the best were chosen and are now available for use.
Alongside the four backgrounds displayed above there are eight more which you can preview here: Astronaut, Black Operative, Cosmos, Digital Camo, Grunge, Space Stars, Stripes #2, and Tech 24/7.
Statistics:
Another interesting feature about the application is that we are able to keep track of how many times each item is chosen. This means we can see what the most popular and least popular items are, as well as see how many classes have been generated since launch. At the time of writing this article nearly 55,000 classes have been made so far, which puts the average class builds per day right around 1,000!
