Information
Classified
The Colt Python, commonly known as the .357 Magnum due to its .357 round, is a double-action revolver designed by the Colt Manufacturing Company, like the M1911. Python revolvers were first introduced in 1955 by the company as their 'top-line' model. The Python could not be the model that appears in World at War, as the weapon was not in production during World War II. The Python revolver series production was terminated in 1996 due to rising production costs and falling sales.

In the Multiplayer Reveal trailer, the player switches from his CAR-15 assault rifle, to a "Python Snub Nose". Snub Nose is most likely an attachment, doing more damage with less accuracy because of the shorter barrel.
